Week 13 NFL Picks/MVP Watch

Philadelphia (4-7) @ Seattle (4-7)

Vince Young has played better in two games than Michael Vick has all year, which will raise Young’s stock as he looks for a starting job next year. And assuming LeSean McCoy plays, the Eagles should roll on Thursday night.

Philadelphia 27 Seattle 9

Tennessee (6-5) @ Buffalo (5-6)

The Bills are looking like a team that may not win one more game this year, while the Titans need to win because with Houston’s quarterback circus, Tennessee still has a legit shot at the AFC South Crown.

Tennessee 24 Buffalo 21

Kansas City (4-7) @ Chicago (7-4)

Speaking of fallen quarterbacks, here are two teams who have also lost their starters for the year. The difference here is Chicago’s run game and defense.

Chicago 20 Kansas City 6

Atlanta (7-4) @ Houston (8-3)

Nobody knows who’s starting at quarterback for the Texans but much like the Bears, I see Houston’s run game and defense stealing this game away from Atlanta. Now let’s just hope that T.J Yates/Kellen Clemens/Jake Delhomme can manage the game well.

Houston 23 Atlanta 19

Oakland (7-4) @ Miami (3-8)

I need Oakland to lose this game to keep San Diego’s slim playoff hopes alive. So that means they’ll probably win.

Oakland 16 Miami 13

Denver (6-5) @ Minnesota (2-9)

It’s not Tebow who keeps winning these games. It’s the defense who keeps winning these games

Denver 19 Minnesota 13

Indianapolis (0-11) @ New England (8-3)

.........

New England 42 Indianapolis 17

Cincinnati (7-4) @ Pittsburgh (8-3)

Really don’t like Andy Dalton’s chances coming into Heinz Field.

Pittsburgh 24 Cincinnati 20

Carolina (3-8) @ Tampa Bay (4-7)

Horrendous game. Give me the home team.

Tampa Bay 22 Carolina 19

NY Jets (6-5) @ Washington (4-7)

Rex Grossman won a game last week. It’s against the rules of football for Rex to have two good games in a row.

NY Jets 27 Washington 13

Baltimore (8-3) @ Cleveland (4-7)

I would actually laugh if the Ravens blew yet another winnable road game. They can’t do it again, can they?

Baltimore 33 Cleveland 10

Dallas (7-4) @ Arizona (4-7)

Anybody who’s not in buying into the Cowboys should give their head a shake.

Dallas 28 Arizona 16

Green Bay (11-0) @ NY Giants (6-5)

If Eli’s a top 10 quarterback like everyone seems to think, he wins this game.

Green Bay 30 NY Giants 21

St. Louis (2-9) @ San Francisco (9-2)

I actually just spent five minutes trying to think of something to write about for this game…

San Francisco 25 St. Louis 13

Detroit (7-4) @ New Orleans (8-3)

Just like it was for the Giants last Monday, it is gonna be a looooong night for Matthew Stafford and company.

New Orleans 34 Detroit 13

San Diego (4-7) @ Jacksonville (4-7)

The Chargers haven’t won since October 9th. If they lose this one, Norv HAS to be fired two seconds after the game clock hits 0.

San Diego 29 Jacksonville 18

MVP Watch (Last week’s rank in brackets)

5. Matthew Stafford (5) QB Detroit 3119 YDS, 26 TD 13 INT

The only reason his team still has a shot at the playoffs

4. Tom Brady (4) QB New England 3627 YDS 28 TD 10 INT

Tore apart the Eagles and now has the Colts this week.

3. Cam Newton (3) QB Carolina 3093 yds 12 TD 14 INT 10 rushing tds

Another rushing TD against the Colts, two back of the QB record.

2. Drew Brees (2) QB New Orleans 3689 YDS 27 TD 11 INT

Absolutely flawless against the G-Men.

1. Aaron Rodgers (1) QB Green Bay 3475 yds 33 TD 4 INT

The burning question is.. Do the Packers rest him at any point?
