In honour of Bobby Hull's possibly intoxicated photo shoot in Tuesday's Winnipeg Sun (wish there were links that I could find, but if you saw the front page of the Sun on Tuesday, and page 2 of the Sun Sports on Tuesday, you know what I mean) , here he is back in the 1970's with the WHA's Winnipeg Jets getting absolutely destroyed from behind by famous hockey goon, Steve Durbano. The attack happens at 1:30 of the video. This is one of my favorite hockey clips EVER.
Note: Listen to how silent the Winnipeg crowd goes. That's how much Bobby meant to that club, and the city, back in the 1970's.
Note #2: This video is worth watching fully because:
1. This shows how crazy hockey games were in the 1970's especially in the WHA. Stuff like this happened on a weekly basis.
2. Watching the Winnipeg fans freak out and throw stuff at the players is fun to watch. In fact, usually any athlete/crowd incident at sporting events are fun to watch as long as you're not the fan getting attacked.
There are so many other funny little things about this video, but I'll let you discover them for yourself.
